Quentin Reddy isn’t just a singer and songwriter; he’s also a passionate entertainer. The connection Quentin shares with his audience makes the room come alive. His guitar is an extension of himself, making it look effortless as he plays his heart out on stage. Quentin’s original works have an East coast influence that pushes the boundaries of New Country Rock.<o:O:P _rdeditor_exists="1"></o:O:P>
Growing up in Newfoundland, Quentin taught himself to play the guitar at a very young age. To stand out in a family of musicians, he began writing, and soon was pouring his soul into song. His passion is rooted in his individuality and each night he plays, he strives to become a better performer.<o:O:P _rdeditor_exists="1"></o:O:P>
Entertaining audiences across <st1:ST1:CITY w:st="on">Alberta</st1:ST1:CITY> for the past several years, Quentin continues to tour the West. He’s played the Calgary Stampede along with many other rodeos. Cold Lake, Edmonton, Grand Prairie and Whitecourt are venues Quentin’s frequently played. He has opened for other artists as well – Tara Oram in his hometown of Airdrie, Dean Brody and April Wine, to name a few. At the Concert of Hope in Slave Lake, Quentin volunteered his talent, time and equipment and shared the bill for the main stage with many mainstream musicians such as Charlie Major, Dwight Yoakam, Ashley MacIsaac, Stampeders and Nazareth. He has also worked closely with the band Turn ‘em Loose to raise money for the Kids Cancer Foundation. Recognizing Quentin’s talent, the Music Industry Association of Newfoundland and <st1:ST1:CITY w:st="on">Labrador</st1:ST1:CITY> awarded him a grant that helped jump start his career.<o:O:P _rdeditor_exists="1"></o:O:P>
Continually immersing himself in his song writing, Quentin has successfully co-written with local artists and has been fortunate enough to write in Nashville. For his upcoming album, he has written or co-written the majority of the tracks. Producer Greg Gunhold of Calgary is working with Quentin as he records his first album. His recently completed first single, Rest for My Body, was recorded with Canadian award winning producer Bart McKay.<o:O:P _rdeditor_exists="1"></o:O:P>
